BELL & GOSSETT 118709 SPRING TYPE PUMP COUPLER 1/2 X 5/8

This Bell & Gossett Pump Coupler is a spring type clockwise rotation coupler with a ½” x ⅝” shaft that fits the following pump series: PD-35, PD-37, and PD-40 pumps, and 60 series AA and 1522 centrifugal pumps. Pump models: 2P611, 3P733, 3P724, 3P721, 4RD13, 4RD14. This coupler is constructed of cast iron. This spring coupler is Bell & Gossett model 118709.

The coupler is the most common part that needs to be replaced on a pump. A broken coupler is indicated when the motor shaft and pump shaft are no longer properly aligned. Often, the motor mount needs to also be replaced when the coupler breaks.
